OVERVIEW

Dr. Regina Eisenbach recently retired from her role as Dean of Academic Advising and Academic Programs at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), a position she held for 12 years. She now serves as Faculty Fellow for Curriculum and Accreditation, continuing her long-standing service as the university’s WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer. Over more than three decades at CSUSM, Dr. Eisenbach has held pivotal academic and administrative positions, including Dean of Academic Programs, Associate Dean and Interim Dean of the College of Business Administration, and Associate Vice President for Academic Programs.

Dr. Eisenbach’s leadership has been instrumental in advancing student success, academic program development, and institutional accreditation. She guided the university through significant organizational change, including the centralization of undergraduate academic advising, the implementation of electronic curriculum management systems, and multiple successful accreditation reaffirmations. Her collaborative approach to strategic planning, curriculum innovation, and cross-divisional initiatives has enhanced student outcomes and operational excellence.
